Nicholas Carter, better known by his stage name MURS, is an USAn rapper from Los Angeles, California. His name is an acronym (or backronym) for which he himself has created multiple meanings, such as “Making the Universe Recognize and Submit” or “Making Underground Raw Shit.”

Coming to the forefront of the underground west coast Hip Hop scene in the early 2000s, he is k nown for his sharp lyricism, compelling storytelling, and fearless authenticity.

He has released acclaimed solo projects and collaborated with legends like 9th Wonder, Tech N9ne, and Living Legends.

Whether on stage or in the studio, Murs blends West Coast roots with global consciousness, delivering powerful performances that challenge, inspire, and entertain.
